It is known that Asus is holding an event at the MWC 2018 show in Barcelona later this month where the company is expected to launch the Zenfone 5 series. Ahead of the launch event, a render of the unannounced Asus Zenfone 5 Lite smartphone has surfaced online along with some key specifications, thanks to popular leakstar Evan Blass (@evleaks).
According to Evan Blass, the Zenfone 5 Lite has dual 20MP + 2MP front cameras and dual 16MP + 2MP cameras on the rear. The render also shows off the smartphone’s new 18:9 aspect ratio display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution with 5.7-6-inches in size and curved edges. There is also a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera module.
Rest of the specifications are unknown at the moment. But Asus has already confirmed that the entire Zenfone 5 lineup will have Snapdragon chipsets.
