Samsung has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Galaxy J7 Prime mid-range smartphone in India. The update carries firmware version G610FDDU1BQH9 and is 1143.09MB in size.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the update brings new UX, improved usability of the notification feature and quick settings button as well as multi-window and added a new Dual Messenger feature.

The update is available through over-the-air (OTA) and as we know the firmware updates are rolled out in stages, so it may take a few days before they reach all the devices out there. Notification for the update should automatically pop up on your device when it is available for you, or you can check it manually by heading to Settings -> About Device -> Software Update.
