OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.5.5 OTA (Over-The-Air) update to its OnePlus 5 flagship smartphone. The update is 59MB in size and it brings several optimizations, including improvements to WiFi connectivity and voice calling, and bug fixes.  Check out the complete change-log below.

OnePlus 5 OxygenOS 4.5.5 update change-log:


  • Further improvements to Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Improvements for voice calling
  • Voice recording now uses less battery
  • Vibration intensity when receiving calls has been decreased

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Wi-Fi singal consistently being displayed as weak
  • Fixed certain apps not able to work under IPv6 network settings
  • To restore connectivity to a Windows 10 PC, please turn off USB debugging prior to the upgrade

As always the update will be gradually rolling out for all the users in the next few days. Notification for the update should automatically pop up on your device when it is available for you, or you can check it manually by heading to Settings -> About Device -> Software Update.
