OnePlus announced that it will launch its latest flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone in India on June 22nd at 2PM, two days after the global online unveiling on June 20th. The launch event takes place at The National Sports Club of India (NSCI) Dome in Worli, Mumbai. Now Amazon India has announced that it will be exclusively available with them and will be available for purchase on the launch day itself from 4.30PM on

The company already confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, and the teaser page Source code on the (via @evleaks) also confirms that it will feature 8GB of RAM.

The first press render of the OnePlus 5 surfaced a few hours back showing off the smartphone in black color with dual rear cameras, LED flash and a secondary microphone. It has a 2.5D curved glass display and a large front camera sensor.

OnePlus has also teamed up with DxO, a photography benchmark to enhance the camera on the OnePlus 5. According to earlier rumors, the smartphone is said to feature a QHD display, fingerprint sensor on the front, unibody metal design and run Android 7.1 Nougat. The CEO also teased recently that it will be the company’s thinnest flagship.
