We are now just one week away from the big unveiling of the OnePlus 5, company’s next flagship smartphone. A lot of details about the smartphone have already been outed, and today we get the biggest leak so far (via Technoblog). It pairs a new image, which shows the device in full, with a pretty complete list of specifications and the price of the handset.
The device is said to feature a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080p) display with support for the DCI-P3 color space. A ceramic-coated fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the Home button that can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. In terms of camera, the leak claims that the OnePlus 5 sport a 16MP + 20MP dual rear camera setup with f/1.7 and f/2.6 aperture, respectively. At front, the smartphone has been tipped to come with a 16-megapixel sensor. To remind you, OnePlus has also teamed up with DxO, a photography benchmark to enhance the camera on the OnePlus 5.
Inside, the device has a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of dual-band UFS 2.1 internal storage. Bluetooth 5.0 will also be on board of the OnePlus 5. It has been tipped to house a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge – going from 0% to 92% in just one hour. Though the render doesn’t show the top and the bottom side of the device, hence we are still not sure OnePlus 5 will come with 3.5mm audio Jack or not. The smartphone will run OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
This report says the OnePlus 5 will be priced at $479 for the base model which is basically $40 more than the starting price of the OnePlus 3T.
These details obviously haven’t been officially confirmed yet, we can only wait for the device to launch on June 20 for more information.
