Xiaomi has now confirmed with a teaser that its latest Mi 6 flagship smartphone will be officially unveiled next week – 19th April, in China. So it is not unveiled today (we sincerely apologize for the confusion). It’s been 203 days since Xiaomi last announced the Mi 5s. The event takes place in Beijing University Of Technology Gymnasium.

According to earlier rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will come in two variants- Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus. The Mi 6 is expected to have a 5.1-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) display, while the Plus variant bears a larger 5.7-inch Quad HD OLED dual curved edge display. Both the devices will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and run Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with MIUI on top. We will have to wait until April 19 to know the final details of the device/ devices.
