Vivo has sent out invites for the launch of V5s, its latest selfie-focused smartphone in the V-series and the successor of last year’s V5 smartphone in India on 27th April, 2017.

The teaser also shows a metal frame and 2.5D curved glass on top. It could be available in a Matte Black color option. Other specifications have not been revealed yet.

To remind you, the V5 features a whopping 20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Moonlight Flash that allows users to take perfect selfies in diverse lighting conditions. On the back it has a 13-megapixel camera with PDAF and LED flash.

It packs a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 (64-bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, has 32GB of expandable internal storage and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 2.6 on top. It also has a unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, custom AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip and a 3000mAh battery.
