Samsung has started rolling a new update to its mobile payments service – Samsung Pay – in India. The update is 84MB in size (the size may vary for you) and it brings support for UPI (Unified Payments Interface) payments service.

"Samsung Pay UPI support update"

For those unaware, UPI is basically a payments system in India that allows for instant fund transfer between bank accounts on the mobile platform, including feature phone. It only requires users to have a telephone number registered with their banks in order to work. So with this change, Samsung Pay users will now be able to make payments with their bank accounts to others through the app.
