Samsung recently unveiled its flagship duo of the year – Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at its Unpacked event in New York. Both the smartphones were initially announced only in one variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Now the company unveils a new variant of the Galaxy S8+, which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
The new variant of the Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955N) will go on sale only in South Korea later this month. In terms of the specifications, it has no special feature other than the RAM and storage count difference.
It comes only in Midnight Black color and is available for pre-order through Samsung online store in Korea in SK telecom, KT and LG U+ compatible versions from today, April 7th till April 17th at 1,155,000 won (US$ 1,016 / Rs. 65,770 approx). It will start shipping from April 18th.
Those who pre-order the Galaxy S8+ (6GB+128GB) will get a Samsung Dex desktop dock worth $159 for free. This version is also expected to launch in China soon.
