Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5 (SM-G920G) smartphone in India. The update comes with firmware version N920GDDU3CQC7 and is weighs around 1GB in size.
Along with Android 7.0 the update brings new UX and several performance modes, improved Notifications experience and Quick settings button, improved multi-window mode, Samsung Pass feature, efficient space for installation of downloaded apps, improved speed of system upgrade and app installation, and more. It also includes the latest Android security patch for March.
The update is available through over-the-air (OTA) and as we know the firmware updates are rolled out in stages, so it may take a few days before they reach all the devices out there. Notification for the update should automatically pop up on your device when it is available for you or, you can check it manually by heading to Settings -> About Device -> Software Update.
According to a report, the Nougat update for Galaxy Note 5 is also available in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and more countries with the same build number.
