OPPO has announced that it will launch F3 Plus, its latest selfie-centric smartphone with dual front cameras in the new F3-series on 23rd March, 2017 in India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam. The smartphone will feature a 16-megapixel front camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary front camera to capture depth information.
The company did not confirm any other specs of the smartphone yet. But according to latest rumors, the phone will likely have a 6-inch Full HD (1080P) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (64-bit) Octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable internal storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, dual nano-SIM slot, 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 with ColorOS 3.0 on top.
This smartphone will compete with the Vivo V5 Plus in India, which has a 20-megapixel front camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary font camera. OPPO is also expected to introduce a smaller version alongside called the F3 with similar dual front camera setup, but it might launch it in the country later.
