Indian telecom sector is undergoing some major changes, thanks to Reliance Jio and its free 4G services. Recently the company announced a new Prime membership offer and under that it is offering unlimited Voice/Video calling, 1GB of 4G data per day, free SMS and free access to Jio’s suite of digital content for just Rs. 303 per month. Now India’s major telecom operators – Airtel, Vodafone and Idea have started offering unlimited calling packs along with data bundle to take on Jio.

Airtel is offering two packs – Rs. 145 and Rs. 343 (Up to Rs. 349 depending on the circle). The Rs. 145 pack offers unlimited A2A Local & STD calls along with 2GB (4G/3G) of data per month, and the Rs. 343 (Up to Rs. 349) pack will offer unlimited calls to any network as well as 1GB of data per day (500 MB in day and 500 MB in night – between 3am to 5am). Airtel says that the offer is available only till March 31st as a Special Tariff Vouchers and those who recharge in March will get the same benefits for the next 12 months.

Vodafone on the other hand is offering Rs. 346 and Rs. 342 (up to Rs. 347 depending on the circle) packs. The Rs. 346 pack offers unlimited calls to any network and 10GB of data with 28 days validity. While the Rs. 342 pack (up to Rs. 347) offers unlimited calls to any network along with 56GB of data (1GB per day FUP) with 56 days validity. Vodafone also says that the offer will continue for 1 year if you recharge by March 15th.

Idea Cellular has announced a bundled plan that offers 14GB of 4G data (500MB per day FUP) along with unlimited calls to any network at Rs. 345 per month.

All these offers are currently available only for selected customers, not for all. These plans might go official for all customers soon.
