At the ongoing MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress) event in Barcelona, Nokia in collaboration with HMD Global has announced two new Android smartphones, the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3.

"Nokia 5"

The Nokia 5 is a mid-range smartphone and it sports a 5.2-inch HD (720p) 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (64-bit) Octa-Core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with wide-angle lens. It also has aluminum alloy unibody design and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.

"Nokia 3"

While the Nokia 3 is a budget smartphone and it packs a 5-inch HD (720p) 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 (64-bit) Quad-Core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with screen flash.

The Nokia 5 is priced at €189 (Rs. 13,300 approx) and the Nokia 3 costs €139 (Rs. 9,780 approx). Both the smartphones will go on sale globally starting from Q2, 2017.
