The tech giant Google introduced Android Wear 2.0 with new system UI, standalone apps, Google Assistant, gesture keyboard, improved notifications and more back in May last year at the I/O developer conference. Yesterday the company announced the first Android Wear 2.0 powered smartwatches by LG, known as the LG Watch Style and Watch Sport. In addition, it also announced the list of compatible watches that will get the latest update in the coming days. Check out the list below.

  • LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE
  • Michael Kors Access Smartwatches
  • Moto 360 2nd Gen
  • Moto 360 for Women
  • Moto 360 Sport
  • New Balance RunIQ
  • Nixon Mission
  • Polar M600
  • TAG Heuer Connected

Many of the very first Android Wear smartwatches that launched in 2014 are not on this update list, such as the Moto 360 (Gen. 1), LG G Watch, ASUS ZenWatch, Samsung Gear Live, and the Sony SmartWatch 3. That means these smartwatches will not get the big update.
