HMD Global has re-introduced one of the most popular mobile phone ever launched, the Nokia 3310 at its Mobile World Congress 2017 press conference in Barcelona, Spain.
Nokia 3310 was first launched in September, 2000 and ever since then the company has sold 126 million units of the original 3310. The 2017 version of the mobile phone comes with improved design and custom designed user interface. It sports a 2.4-inch polarized QGVA display, 16MB of expandable (up to 32GB) in-built storage and a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
It comes bundled with Opera Mini browser for basic web browsing, but the downside of the newest model is that it supports 2G connectivity only. The stand out feature of the mobile is its battery life. Nokia 3310 has a standby time of 31 days and the company claims that the device can offer a talk time of 22 hours, which is amazing. And, to make things nostalgic, the Nokia 3310 comes with a modern Snake game.
Nokia 3310 will be available in Glossy Yellow, Red, Matte Grey and Dark Blue color options. The feature phone will be available both single SIM and dual SIM variants starting Q2, 2017 for just 49 Euros (INR 3,500 approx).
