Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy C9 Pro, its latest high-end smartphone in the Galaxy C-series in India. It was announced back in October last year in China and this is the company’s first smartphone to boast a whopping 6GB of RAM. It also comes with a 6-inch Full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (64-bit) Octa-Core processor, has 64GB of expandable internal storage and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top.

In terms of camera, the C9 Pro has a 16-megapixel rear camera with large f/1.9 aperture, phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) and on the front it also sports a 16-megapixel camera with same f/1.9 aperture.

It also has an aerospace-grade aluminium unibody design, a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button, dual loud-speakers – one in the earpiece and other on the bottom, dedicated dual SIM slots along with a microSD card slot and packs 4000mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is priced at Rs. 36,900 in India and it will be available for pre-order through select stores and online channels from January 27, 2017 with pre-booking offer of One-Time Screen Replacement for a period of 12 months. It will become available from late February.
