Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched Honor 6X, its latest mid-range smartphone in India. It was introduced back in October, last year in China and it packs a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 655 (64-bit) 16nm Octa-Core processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM, has 32GB/64GB of expandable internal storage and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1 on top. It will get EMUI 5.0 update based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) in Q2 2017.

In terms of camera, it has dual rear camera setup – a 12-megapixel camera with 6P lens, 1.25um pixel size, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a secondary 2-megapixel camera for achieving depth of field and background blur. On the front it has an 8-megapixel camera with 77-degree wide-angle lens.

It also has a unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor on the back that can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds and packs a 3340mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charging support and it promises up to two days of battery life with normal use.

The Honor 6X is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant, and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant costs Rs. 15,999.
