Xiaomi launched its Mi Explorer program in India back in January, this year before the launch of the very popular Redmi Note 3 smartphone, and now the company has started taking applications for a new Mi Explorer program ahead of the launch of the next Redmi smartphone in the country, which will likely be the Redmi Note 4.

Regarding the Mi Explorers campaign, Xiaomi said:

“We care deeply about providing the best product experience possible to all our users. Mi Explorers is designed for Mi to perfect the next Redmi device based on extensive user feedback and data before launch.

We are looking for loyal Mi fans who are truly passionate about Mi. Outstanding photography, videography, and writing skills are bonuses. Anyone can apply!

Apply in 3 easy steps: Basic info, Mi Fan Challenge, and submission.

  1. Log in to Mi.com with your Mi ID (required)
  2. Fill in your basic personal information (the more detailed information you provide, the higher your chance of getting selected as an Explorer!)
  3. After filling in your personal information, you will be directed to the Mi Fan Challenge page. To enter the next round, yYou need to get 18 out of 20 questions correct within a limited time of five minutes. You can try at most three times per day. If you fail all three times, you can come back and try again the next day.
  4. Before submitting your application, you can revise your personal information for the last time.  You cannot revise your personal information after submission.
  5. We will contact shortlisted Mi Explorers shortly after the application period

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was introduced in China back in August, this year and is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 (64-bit) Deca-Core processor. But similar to the Redmi Note 3 smartphone, the Redmi Note 4 is also expected to come with a Snapdragon processor in India.
