According to a new report, the South Korean tech giant Samsung is planning to roll out Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Galaxy A (2016) series devices as well. That means the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A9 and Galaxy A9 Pro will all get the major OS update.

It is good to see that the company is treating the mid-range line up with frequent updates and roll-outs. However, there is no word about the exact time frame, and it will likely to take some time.

On the other hand, Samsung is also working on beta builds of Nougat for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge flagship smartphones with the final version expected to release in early 2017.
