Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy J7 (2016) smartphone, in India. The update weighs in at around 254 MB and carries a build number of J710FXXU1APG5. It brings the Android security patch level of July 1.

Aside from the Google’s security fixes, the update also includes device stability improvements, bus fixes and more.

As usual, the update is rolling out in stages through over-the-air (OTA), so it may take a few days before your device pops up the notification for you. You can always check for the latest update manually by heading to Settings > About phone > Software update.
