Micromax has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone in the Canvas Fire series, the Canvas Fire 5 in India. It packs a 5.5-inch 720p display, is powered by MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, has 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

It comes with dual front-facing loud speakers with Auro 3D sound that promises loud and clear sound. It also has dual SIM support, similar to most other Micromax smartphones.
