The South Korean tech giant Samsung had announced the second generation of Galaxy ‘A’ series smartphones – the Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 and the Galaxy A3 2016 edition back in December last year. Today the company has officially launched the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) smartphones in India at an event in Kuala Lumpur.
The Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 edition smartphones sport a metal and glass build design similar to the 2015 edition. But both the smartphones come with an improved camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), more battery capacity and fingerprint scanner on the home button.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is priced at INR 29,400 and the Galaxy A7 (2016) is costs 33,400. They also come with a bundled offer of 30GB data for 6 months for Airtel customers. The smartphones will be available in the country via Snapdeal and offline retailers starting February 15.
