The giant smartphone processor maker Qualcomm has unveiled three new SoCs – Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953), Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) and Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917). The Snapdragon 625 is an Octa-Core (Cortex A53) SoC, which is the first 600-series Snapdragon chipset to use power-efficient 14nm FinFET technology. It also has an integrated X9 LTE modem. The Snapdragon 435 is also an Octa-Core (Cortex A53) SoC, but it is based on old 28nm process technology. It has an integrated X8 LTE modem. The Snapdragon 425 is a Quad-Core (Cortex A53) SoC based on same 28nm process technology and has an X6 LTE modem. Check out the complete highlights of these three new SoCs below.
