Few days ago Google announced a new software update based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Android Wear smartwatches and now Motorola has started rolling out the update to its Moto 360 (2nd Generation) smartwatch.
The new update brings the usual Android Marshmallow goodies like- Doze mode and new App Permissions. In addition, it also includes new wrist gestures, Moto body running, date & time manually settings, Bluetooth headset audio improvements, bug fixes and support for six new languages, including Mandarin (Taiwan), Cantonese (Hong Kong), Indonesian (Indonesia), Polish (Poland), Dutch (Netherlands) and Thai (Thailand).
According to the company, this software update will be rolled out in phases over the next few days. “When you receive the update, you will receive a notification on your watch.” After applying the update your watch will be running on software version MEC23G.
