Motorola has launched the Moto X Force smartphone in India, as it promised. To remind you, the smartphone was first announced in October last year and it is the world’s first smartphone which comes with ‘shatterproof’ display (Moto ShatterShield display technology). Motorola said that the display is guaranteed not to crack or shatter for up to 4 years.

The high-end smartphone features a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core processor, 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB expandable internal storage and runs Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), which is upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

It has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and a 5-megapixel front camera that also has an LED flash for capturing better images in low lighting conditions. It has water repellent coating on the body, similar to most other Motorola smartphones.

The Motorola Moto X Force comes in two internal storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. The 32GB variant is priced at INR 49,999 and the 64GB variant is costs INR 53,999. The smartphone will be available from Flipkart, Amazon.in, Spice Hotspot and Croma starting from February 8th.
