The giant smartphone maker LG has announced two new smartphones in the new ‘X’ series, called the X cam and X screen, ahead of the MWC 2016. The company says the devices “are designed for customers who do not want or need all the bells and whistles that come with today’s high-end phones but still desire a great camera or advanced display.”

The X cam sports 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear cameras and promises one of the most advanced camera experience in a mass-tier smartphone. On the other hand, the X screen features 1.76-inch ‘Always-on’ secondary display, in addition to 4.93-inch HD In-cell Touch display. This will allow users to easily access frequently used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity, play music, check date & time, battery status and other notifications without unlocking the phone.
