Ringing Bells has launched its latest smartphone in the Freedom series, the Freedom 251 in India. This becomes the cheapest smartphone in India. The handset comes with a 4-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal storage, dual SIM slot, 3.2-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera and runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop). The company said that the ‘Freedom 251’ launch is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “empowering India to the last person, transforming India’s growth story”.

The smartphone is priced at just Rs. 251 and it will be available for order through freedom251.com starting from 18th Feb – 6AM to 21st Feb – 8PM. It comes with 1-year warranty and the company says that it has over 650 service centers across India.

To inform you, the company has also launched India’s cheapest 4G smartphone, the Smart 101 for just Rs. 2,999 recently.
