Sprint has now started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA (Over-The-Air) update to LG G4 Smartphones on its network. It comes with a new software version – LS991ZV9.

The update brings lots of new features, like – the new Doze mode that helps improved battery life, better permissions management, Google Now on Tap, better microSD support and much more. A couple of LG apps – Q+ and Bridge have also been renamed to Memo Capture + and AirDrive, respectively. It also includes Sprint’s Global Roaming feature.

The update is rolling out in stages, so it may be take a few days before your device pops up that notification for you. You can always check for the latest update manually by heading to Settings > About device > Software update.
