We already reported that Motorola Moto X (1st gen) started receiving the Android 5.1 Lollipop update in the US, Brazil and Canada. Now the same update rolling out in several more countries.

David Schuster, senior director for software product management at Motorola Mobility announced on his Google+ page that the Android 5.1 Lollipop update now seeding for Moto X (1st Gen) retail models in the following countries: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.

The update will be sent out Over-the-air (OTA) in batches, so it may take few days before they reach all the devices out there. When it will be available for your device the update notification should automatically pop-up on your Smartphone; if it’s not, don’t forget to check it manually by heading to Settings -> About Device -> Software Update.
