"Google Play Gift cards in India"

Google Play Gift card service was first introduced in the US in 2012 and after that the service slowly expanding to 28 countries (United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and UK). Now India becomes the 29th country to get Google Play Gift cards. Google is calling it Google Play prepaid vouchers in India.

These gift cards worth INR 500, INR 1000 and INR 1500 will be available in coming weeks at select stores of Vijay Sales and Spice Hotspot in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata & Jaipur. With these vouchers Android Smartphone/ Tablet users can purchase any digital content such as books, movies, apps and more from the Google Play store. Inside the voucher, there will be a redemption code that you can redeem on Google Play.

Interesting thing is that Google Play gift cards are never expire and very easy to use. Hope it will be expanded to other cities in near future.
