Every Android Smartphone and Tablet users have a common issue of lost smooth and fast or speedy performance of their devices after few months. High-range Smartphones have fully loaded with Great Processor, Large RAM memory, Enough ROM memory and Latest Firmware update feature; therefore users have facing this issue for sometimes but Middle and Low-range Smartphone users have facing this issue regularly. Here are few easy steps to increase the speed and Smooth performance of any Android device –
1. Regularly use the Task Manager:
Task manager is a very important feature of every Android device. When user can use an app and after that go back to the home screen, the app continuously running in the background. The Task manager helps us to Show background running apps and Kill those apps. User simply Press and hold the Multitasking key or Home key for opening the Task manager. Now Swipe an app Left or Right of the screen to Kill it. Samsung Galaxy Smartphones has a Smarter Task manager.

2. Close Unwanted Apps which running in Background (Hard way):
Some apps like- Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat, Antivirus, Call Recorder etc. may remain running in background. So User needs to stop those apps for increase device performance.
  • Open Device Settings menu.
  • Tap on the Application manager option.
  • Go to Running tab.
  • Select the unwanted app.
  • Tap on the Force Stop option.

3. Clear RAM memory:
If RAM memory is full then the device is getting slow and it takes longer time to response. The RAM meter Shows on the Running tab of Application manager. Samsung Galaxy Smartphone and Tablets also shows the RAM memory status in the Task manager. User needs to download a RAM cleaner app from Google play store.

4. Regularly update all apps.
Sometimes apps have some small Bugs, lags and other problems which decrease the user experience. The latest software helps us to fix such issues. So regularly update all apps from Google Play store is important to ensure the best performance of device.
  • Tap on the Play store app.
  • Go to My apps and then Installed apps.
  • Now tap on the Update All.

5. Move Apps to External SD card:
Android 4.0 and Higher versions support us with built-in feature of Move application to SD card.
  • Simply open Device Settings menu.
  • Tap on the Application manager option.
  • Go to Downloading apps.
  • Choose an app like- games.
  • Now tap on the Move to SD card option.

6. Free more space in internal storage:
User needs to free internal storage of his/her device. So move all files like-images, songs, videos and other files to SD card for improve device performance.

7. Remove unused apps:
User does not want to allow those apps which he/she never use.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Open Application manager.
  • Find and Select the app in the Downloading tab.
  • Tap on the Uninstall option.

8. Clear applications Cache memory:
Cache memory is another reason for lost smooth and speedy performance of user’s device.
1st Step-
  • Go to Settings.
  • Open Application manager and go to Download tab.
  • Select an app and tap on the Clear cache option.

  • Tap on Cached data and then tap OK.

3rd step-   Download any Cache Cleaner app from Play store and run it.

9. Update device Firmware:
The latest Firmware help us to run our device better and smooth.
  • Go to Settings menu.
  • Scroll up and tap on the About device.
  • Select the Software update option and then tap on Check for updates.
  • Now device automatically checked for latest Firmware OTA (Over The Air) update.

10. Disable live wallpaper and Widgets:
A low range Android device has not enough RAM memory. Live wallpaper and Widgets are utilize much RAM memory and its slowdown the device.
11. Factory reset:
This is the last step for boots up the speed of Android device. Factory reset will be erased all data from device inbuilt memory, including all accounts, settings and downloaded applications.
  • Open device Settings menu.
  • Tap on the Privacy settings or Backup and Restore option.
  • Select Factory data reset option.
  • Tap on Reset phone.
  • Then Erase everything
